Hello! I'm Nicole Myers, and I want everyone who lives in Bellevue to love it as much as my family does!
Bellevue needs additional housing that is excellent for families, where we’ll nurture kids in a safe environment. We also need affordable housing for seniors and young adults that’s designed for their needs. I have advocated for a higher standard for sleeping area sound-proofing in Bellevue apartment construction to reduce the noise our residents experience.
As I cycle and walk with my kids, I think about how our streetscape should make everyone feel safe and comfortable moving around the city. I also understand we need dependable car travel times, and that public safety is a required part of a useful transit system and welcoming city.

I will protect our third spaces, where we make social connections; housing and offices alone aren’t enough to make a city alive. I will work on Bellevue’s processes to deliver consistent, cost-effective results that reflect our residents’ values.
I enjoy organizing community events, and was previously elected to a neighborhood board that helped people get answers and connect with their elected representatives. Here in Bellevue, I have regularly engaged with the Transportation and Planning Commissions, and I created newbellevue.com and a weekly newsletter to keep residents informed about high impact city decisions and encourage participation. We have big decisions to make that will shape our future, and the city needs to hear from you as we plan the course ahead!
